In 2020, the world of jazz dance changed forever.
For the first time, the roots and branches of this incredible art form were explored and documented by experts in what would become a multi award-winning documentary entitled ‘UPROOTED: The Journey of Jazz Dance’.
The film quickly found success, and rose to become a beacon of hope within the dance community. The industry’s leading choreographers, dancers, and educators saw Uprooted as the perfect vehicle with which to educate future generations on the importance and influence of jazz dance.
And so, a new mission was born. To create unique educational programs that introduce 250,000+ students and teachers of all nationalities to the roots of jazz dance by the year 2030.
Ambitious? Maybe. Important? Definitely!

Our jazz dance intensives encourage dancers to grow and experience jazz dance styles they may never have experienced before. This expands the dancers understanding and knowledge of where jazz dance came from, and it’s influence on current styles.
