We are so excited to be bringing our UPROOTED jazz dance intensive back to London for its third consecutive year. Come and join us at the infamous Sadlers Well Theatre Dance Studio on Rosemary Avenue, London EC1 (near Angel Tube station) on Saturday & Sunday August 9th & 10th 2025!
You will experience a deep dive into the roots and branches of jazz dance with our incredible teaching artists. Classes will cover African Dance, Lindy Hop & Charleston, Matt Mattox based isolation technique, Afrobeat, Commercial Jazz, Fosse style jazz and Theatrical jazz. Daily from 9.30am - 6pm / Classes 90 mins each.
Additionally this year we will have a special guest to end each day with an exclusive Industry Q&A
Open for 15 years old and above to all levels ~ ideal for dancers and teachers.

JAZZ DANCE
You will be digging into the roots and branches of jazz dance over the course of the two days. Classes ranging from African Dance to AfroBeat to Lindy Hop and Theatre Dance. Co-Creator of the film, Zak Nemorin, will be teaching the iconic jazz technique Matt Mattox.
This is an intensive not to be missed!

THE ROOTS
We go back to the roots of jazz in Africa with one our leading Uprooted faculty educators, Robin Gee. Robin teaches at UNCG in America and has extensive knowledge and experience teaching the African roots of this awesome dance form.

Uprooted jazz dance education strives to include ALL the branches of the jazz dance tree. You will experience the roots in African dance with Robin to Lindy hop and Charleston with Jreena Green and then travel all the way to the modern day with commercial jazz with Luca Dinardo. Our extraordinary educators bring you all their extensive experience and knowledge so you will walk away with a greater understanding of the jazz dance movement, its history and where it all derived from.

EARLY BIRD RATE (Ends April 30th 2025) - £150 for both days/ £90 day rate.
REGULAR RATE (May 1st - June 30th 2025) - £175 for both days/ £110 day rate
LATE RATE (July 1st - August 9th) - £200 for both days/ £125 day rate
