London 2023

UPROOTED’s very first Jazz Dance Intensive is in the books! What a fantastic 3 days we had. We kicked off the intensive with a screening and a panel discussion of the film then jumped into our classes.

Classes included African Dance, Authentic Jazz (Lindy to Charleston) Tap, Matt Mattox based isolation technique, Musical Theatre, AfroBeat and House.

Our Master Teachers and Artists were: Robin Gee, Jreena Green, Annette Walker, Jo McShane, Zak Nemorin, Gregory Haney, Aggie Nonsizi and Bly Richards.

We had dancers from Sweden, Norway, American and all over the UK.

We are so grateful to hosts at The Marylebone Theatre and look forward to returning to London in 2024!
